
In October, the T-Mobile G1 was launched in the United States and this was the first mobile phone with Google’s Android operating system. Now a second 'gPhone' has been announced, although this new Google Phone will only be available in Australia.
The Australian company Kogan will launch the Agora: a smart phone with a full qwerty keyboard, 3G support and a software suite containing Google software such as Gmail and Google Calendar.
There is also an Agora Pro model, with a build-in 2 MP camera, WiFi support and a GPS receiver.
The Agora features a 320 by 240 pixel screen, a multimedia player which can play Midi, MP3, AAC and WAV files as well as movies in MPEG and AVI format.
