As expected, the Toshiba NB205 has been released in the US today. It is the same machine as Toshiba’s Dynabook UX that’s released in Japan, and the European NB200. In US they are releasing it as the NB205.

All models come with an 10.1” 1024 x 600 LED Display, Intel GMA950 graphics, Intel Atom Processor N280, 1GB DDR2, Windows XP Home (SP3), Wireless LAN (802.11b/g), USB Sleep-and-Charge, Webcam with Face Recognition, six-cell battery, 160GB HDD (5400rpm).
The high end metalic model ($399.99) comes with Bluetooth V2.1 + EDR and 1GB DDR2 800MHz memory. The black model does not have bluetooth and comes with 1GB DDR2 533MHz. The NB200 has been available in Europe, Great Britain and Canada for a couple of weeks now and gets lots of praise from reviewers for its excellent quality, design and battery life. It's a beauty of a netbook. The build quality is really high and it looks fantastic.
